A recurring assignment generates dated service visits. Update it for lasting changes to a customer's plan. For a single day's cover, change the dated stop on Schedule instead. Open Route Management, then Route Assignments. Find the property and open its three-dot menu. The customer and address identify the service location you are changing. Choose Edit to change the arrival preference. Preferred Time Window describes when the customer wants the technician to arrive. Choose Morning, and the window's start and end fill in. Window Start and Window End define that arrival range. Default Start Time supplies a scheduled start for newly generated visits. Leave it empty when you do not need a fixed starting time. Select Update Assignment to save the preference. Update Future Route Stops offers an additional update to dated visits. The recurring plan is already saved. Choose Leave As-Is; this does not undo the plan or changes already applied to future visits. Now the customer needs a permanent change of service day. Open the assignment's menu and choose Move. This changes the repeating plan, rather than one dated visit. New Technician sets who owns the recurring visit. New Day of Week sets its service day. Select both, even when one stays the same. Current Assignment shows the starting point. Route Position puts this property in the new technician's order. Select Add to end for this move. You can also insert between existing assignments. Then select Move Route. The ordinary visits now follow the new technician and day. Manually moved exceptions stay separate, and completed visits remain in the history. Update Existing Route Stops shows the preserved exception. Choose Leave As-Is; it does not undo the move. The assignment appears under its new technician and day. On Schedule, the ordinary visit is on the new route. The separately moved visit keeps its own date and technician. For a planned finish, use Change End Date. End Date is the last service date allowed by this plan. Choose the date, then Set End Date. Ordinary scheduled stops after it are removed; manually moved exceptions remain. For an immediate cancellation, choose Delete on the active assignment. End Route Immediately ends the repeating plan and removes ordinary scheduled future visits. The assignment stays as an inactive record; manually moved exceptions and completed visits are preserved. Confirm End Route Immediately, then enable Show inactive routes. The ended assignment is retained here. Its menu now offers Reactivate and Delete Permanently. Open Delete Permanently to see the warning. Confirming would remove the recurring template, while preserving service history. That template cannot be recovered. Choose Cancel here so the inactive plan stays available. The customer's recent stops still show the completed visit. Ending an assignment stops its ordinary future schedule; it does not erase completed service or cancel a separately moved exception. To resume this plan, choose Reactivate on the inactive assignment. It opens the edit form. Clear End Date with the adjacent close button, then select Update Assignment. The retained assignment is active again with no end date. Use Schedule to review the actual dated visits before the team runs the route.
