A route assignment tells Pool Runs which property to service, who will service it, and how often. Let's create one recurring stop, then look at building a whole day. Before you start, add the customer, their property, and at least one body of water. Your technician should already be on staff. Open Routes, click Add Route, then choose Add Single Route. Search for the property by customer name or address, and select the right location. Then choose the technician who will handle the recurring service. These choices connect the stop to the right customer and staff member. Choose the water features this visit should include. Select All Water Features covers every active pool and spa at the property. For a more specific visit, choose individual features instead. Set the service day and frequency. Weekly repeats every week. Bi-weekly repeats every two weeks, and the other options repeat every three or four weeks. For this example, we'll schedule weekly service on Monday. Default Start Time sets the scheduled start time for this stop. Preferred Time Window records when the customer expects a visit. Choose Morning for a morning arrival window. Route Position controls where this stop sits in the technician's day; leave it at the end or choose a position. Choose when the assignment becomes active. Leave End Date empty for ongoing service, or set a date for a limited season. Check the Schedule Preview before saving. The listed dates should match the weekday and frequency you intended. Click Create Assignment. The form closes and the new recurring assignment appears in Routes. Check the property, technician, day, and cadence. If a property already has an assignment on the same day, resolve that existing assignment before creating another. For several properties, open Add Route and choose Build Multiple Routes. The Route Builder keeps the recurring stop list and map visible together. Choose a technician and day first. You are now working on that specific recurring route. Under Options, set the service frequency and preferred time for the next properties you add. These defaults do not change existing stops. Search in Add Property, then select the location. It saves as a numbered stop with a matching map pin. Check the new card to confirm the customer, location, and service settings. Drag a stop's handle to adjust the order. Pool Runs saves the new sequence and updates future generated stops to match. Check the numbered list after the move, and review any customer time windows. Optimize Route can also help you preview a shorter drive. That's the route setup: choose the property and technician, set the schedule, review the dates, and save. Use Route Builder when you want to arrange several stops together.
